An itinerary of history, art and faith, which focusses on the monuments and art works of the Piazza del Duomo in Florence.

The visit starts with the Baptistery, "the beautiful San Giovanni" of Dante, one of the oldest churches in Florence, embellished on the outside by three bronze doors, including a very famous one called ‘Gate of Paradise’ and inside by a rich mosaic decoration with a gold background that covers the entire dome. Then follows the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, expression of the city's pride, the largest in Europe when it was completed, characterized by that huge dome realized by Filippo Brunelleschi. The visit continues to the cathedral museum which offers, after the Vatican Museums, the largest collection of sacred art in the world with masterpieces by Lorenzo Ghiberti, Donatello, Luca della Robbia, Michelangelo and many others. The combined ticket also allows individual visits to the Brunelleschi's Dome and Giotto's Bell Tower.
