An itinerary on which we stroll through the small streets of the Oltrarno, the districts on the left bank of the Arno river. Always known for its famous Florentine artisans' workshops (goldsmiths, ceramists, weavers and shoemakers), the Oltrarno offers also some of the most important works of Renaissance art.

Together with our guide you will visit the Brancacci Chapel, inside the church of Santa Maria del Carmine, where the painters Masaccio, Masolino da Panicale and Filippino Lippi have created one of the most important cycles of frescoes of the fifteenth century. A few steps from the Brancacci Chapel is the Basilica of Santo Spirito, the last work designed by Filippo Brunelleschi and one of the absolute masterpieces of Renaissance architecture. Our walk in the Oltrarno ends at Palazzo Pitti (external visit), testimony of the greatness of the Medici family.
