Inaugurated in 1986, the museum collects numerous works of art from the monuments of the Piazza dei Miracoli.

During the guided tour you will learn splendid examples of Islamic art, including the bronze Grifo and the main works of the greatest exponents of the Pisan sculpture: from Bonanno Pisano, to Nicola and Giovanni Pisano up to Tino di Camaino and Nino Pisano. The guided tour ends with a presentation of Carlo Lasinio's etchings which allow visitors to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of the frescoes of the Campo Santo as they appeared before the fatal fire during the last war.
