Immersed in a highly evocative landscape, the Certosa di Calci, founded in 1366, is now the National Museum.

After a brief introduction to the phenomenon of monastic life, our visit includes a tour through the ancient spezieria, the great cloister with the cells of the Carthusian monks, the guesthouse, the chapter hall, the refectory and its splendid richly frescoed church.
