CLASSICAL TOUR: Florence - Capital of Tuscany, cradle of Renaissance art, one of the most important art cities in the world - you just gotta spoil yourself sometimes!
Our guided tour starts with a visit to Piazza Santa Maria Novella and its beautiful church. On a leisurely walk through the historic town center, we visit Piazza della Repubblica, the vivid Porcellino market and Ponte Vecchio, constructed in 1325. Walking along the banks of the river Arno we reach the famous Uffizi art gallery and the nearby Piazza della Signoria, the heart of the political Florence. Here Savonarola lit his bonfire of vanities. It is hard to leave the amazing beauties in white marble, such as Giambologna's "Sabinas' Abduction" or Michelangelos "David". But who would not like to see the highlight of this walking tour, Brunelleschi's majestic Cathedral with Giotto's Campanile or the famous bronze doors of the adjacent Baptistery!
Duration: 2 - 3 hrs.
UFFIZI: The Uffizi are the most complete Italian painting gallery. It was the private collection of the Medici Family, who were as interested in money as in art. Several hundred works were bought, confiscated and commissioned in over 200 years of their political regency. They allow us a chronological walk through the story of European painting.
Our guided tour starts with the rooms dedicated to medieval painting (Giotto's Maestą and the works of Cimabue and Duccio). From there we visit the most famous paintings of Botticelli, Leonardo and Michelangelo's only accomplished painting, the Tondo Doni. Our tour concludes with a visit to the rooms dedicated to Raffael, Tiziano, Tintoretto and Veronese. You would like to continue? No problem, our guide will be pleased to show you the Caravaggio School and eminent Dutch painters. After this full immersion in the highlights of painting even trained eyes will need some rest!
Duration: 2 - 3 hrs.

ACCADEMIA: Our guided tour in the "accademia" centers on its cult statue: Michelangelo's David. Everything in the fascinating story of its creation contributes to its lasting fame: the fact that the work was begun by another artist, the low quality of the marble block and Michelangelo's genius, which finally transformed it into the figure of a man with classical shape and an anatomically perfect body. Finished in 1504, the statue was exposed for 250 years on the Piazza della Signoria, right opposite of the Palazzo Vecchio. It serves as a stern admonition for tyrants and as a symbol of republican freedom..
