Rising behind the Pitti Palace, last residence of the Medici family, the Boboli Garden is today one of the best examples of the Italian Garden, a gard model which later inspired those of many European courts.

Presenting the various parts of the Boboli garden as the Amphitheatre, the Grotta di Buontalenti, the Neptune fountain, the giardono del Cavaliere with its magnificent Banksiae roses, the 'Viottolone', an alley formed by two rows of majestic Cypress trees and the 'Isoletto', an artificial island adorned with lemon trees and sculpture. Our guided tour illustrates the complex design of the Boboli Gardens, caracterized by sculptures, architecture, waterworks and plants as an expression of the intellectual principles of the Renaissance.
