The Galileo Galilei museum in Florence is a museum of the history of science which houses a collection of scientific instruments among the most important in the world.

Our guided tour of the Galilei Museum allows a journey through space and time. We start with the Medici period, characterized by the discovery of the new world but also by the very important Galilean revolution. The measure of time, the representation of the world, going by sea and waging war are some of the themes dealt with. After the Medici the Lorraines also supported scientists and their research in physics, chemistry, medicine, meteorology, electricity.
