The extra virgin olive oil, an essential part of the now famous Mediterranean diet, has conquered in recent years also the markets of northern Europe and the United States. Yet the knowledge on its correct use and above all the criteria for a just assessment of the quality of olive oil are still little known.

Led by a professional taster (C.O.I method), you will learn about the fascinating world of olive oil. The seminar covers the following topics:

- The cultivation of olives in the Meditterraneo: past and present
- How high quality olive oil is produced: traditional methods and modern procedures
- What the label says - and what it does not say
- Pairing olive oil with food.
- Professional tasting techniques

During seminar you will taste 3 - 4 different oils.
