Located a few kilometers from Grosseto, the ancient Etruscan-Roman town Roselle dominated the Prile Lake and the ancient mouth of the river Ombrone. Visiting the archaeological park you will embark on a journey through the past, from the Etruscans to the middle ages. A massive cyclopean wall and archaic homes of VII century B.C. reveal fascinating secrets of the Etruscan people; there are also many archaeological findings from the Roman period as the Domus dei mosaici and a beautiful amphitheatre.
