Our tour begins with a visit to the small medieval village Monterigggioni, the ideal gateway for exploring the Chianti region. Completely enclosed by walls it gives you a true idea of how live must have been in the Middle Ages. Leaving Monteriggioni we head towards Castellina in Chianti. During a guided tour in the local archaeological museum you will learn about the fascinating culture of the Etruscans, the first settlers living in this area more than 2000 years ago. We continue our visit climbing up to the top of Castellina's Castle from where we enjoy the amazing panorama. After a break, a ride through one of the most beautiful parts of the Chianti, characterized by vineyards, stone houses, olive groves and and oak forests will bring you back to Monteriggioni.
