The painter and mathematician Piero della Francesca is one of the most emblematic figures of the Renaissance. In and around Arezzo he has left numerous frescoes that testify to his absolute mastery in the art of perspective.

Our tour starts in Sansepolcro, his hometown. On a leisurely walk we visit the historic center and the Civic Museum which houses some of his most famous works, including the Resurrection and the Triptych of the Madonna della Misericordia. From Sansepolcro we then move to Monterchi where another masterpiece of Piero della Francesca awaits us, his curious Madonna del Parto.
