Since ancient Greek wine has been a symbol of culture and vitality. Italy is next to France one of the most important wine-growing countries in the world; on an area of approximately 866 000 hectares (2.16 million acres) an almost infinite variety of wines are produced.

Varietals that thrive in Tuscany are not limited to the great red wines such as the famous Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Sassicaia or Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, but also include great white and dessert wines that turn a tasting into a sensuous journey of discovery.

Under the guidance of a professional Sommelier (Associazione Italiana Sommelier), we introduce you to the world of Tuscan wine. The following topics are scheduled:

From the vineyard to the bottle: wine production then and now
What does the label tell us - and what not?
Which wine should be paired with which food?
Techniques of tasting

The highlight of the seminar is wine tasting of 4-5 different wines, which introduce the participants to the amazing variety of different flavors.

At our wine seminars the participants decide themselves which wine varietals and how may wines they want to taste. The selected wines will be charged separately and paid at the tasting room.
