FROM MONTALCINO TO S. ANTIMO ABBEY

 An fascinating walk in the heart of Tuscany, through the realm of the Brunello di Montalcino! Our starting point is an Etruscan settlement of the 6th Century BC, which is located on hill which dominates the valleys of the Orcia, the Arbia and Ombrone river. Through forests and vineyards, a landscape soaked with history and with stunning views, we reach the Romanesque Abbey of St. Antimo, which according to an old legend, was founded due to a vow of Charlemagne.
